1. Purpose

This Code of Conduct defines the professional, ethical, and operational standards required of all service providers listed on Diventures Club.

Compliance with this Code is mandatory for:

  • Dive Centers
  • Freelance Technical Instructors
  • Freelance Scuba Instructors
  • Freelance Divemasters (Dive Guides)
  • Commercial Diving Schools

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination from the Platform.


2. Professional Standards

Service providers must:

  • Act professionally and respectfully at all times
  • Communicate clearly and honestly with customers
  • Provide services as described in listings
  • Maintain punctuality and reliability
  • Avoid misleading or deceptive practices

Any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior is strictly prohibited.


3. Safety & Responsibility

Providers must:

  • Follow recognized diving safety standards
  • Conduct proper briefings before activities
  • Ensure equipment is safe, functional, and suitable
  • Monitor environmental and weather conditions
  • Cancel or modify activities if safety is compromised

Safety decisions must always take precedence over commercial considerations.


4. Certifications, Licensing & Insurance

Providers are required to:

  • Maintain valid certifications appropriate to the services offered
  • Hold all required licenses and permits
  • Maintain adequate insurance coverage
  • Ensure staff qualifications are current and verifiable

Providers must supply documentation upon request.


5. Accuracy of Listings

Providers must ensure that:

  • Service descriptions are accurate
  • Prices are transparent and complete
  • Availability is up to date
  • Images and media reflect actual services

Misrepresentation may lead to immediate suspension.


6. Booking & Cancellation Conduct

Providers must:

  • Respond to booking requests in a timely manner
  • Honor confirmed bookings
  • Avoid unnecessary cancellations
  • Notify Diventures Club immediately if a cancellation is unavoidable

Repeated cancellations or declines may affect listing visibility or result in removal.


7. Customer Experience

Providers must:

  • Treat customers fairly and respectfully
  • Avoid pressuring customers into additional purchases
  • Respect customer privacy and personal data
  • Address concerns professionally and promptly

Customer complaints will be monitored and reviewed.


8. Payment & Platform Integrity

Providers must:

  • Use the Platform for all bookings and payments
  • Not request or accept off-platform payments for Platform bookings
  • Respect payout structures and timelines
  • Cooperate in disputes, refunds, and chargebacks

Circumventing the Platform may result in permanent removal.


9. Ethical & Legal Compliance

Providers must:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Operate within local and international legal frameworks
  • Avoid illegal, unsafe, or unethical practices

Any unlawful activity will result in immediate termination.


10. Environmental Responsibility

Providers are encouraged to:

  • Follow responsible diving practices
  • Avoid damage to marine life and ecosystems
  • Educate customers on sustainable behavior
  • Comply with local conservation regulations

Environmental negligence may affect provider status.


11. Confidentiality & Data Protection

Providers must:

  • Protect customer data
  • Use personal information only for service fulfillment
  • Avoid sharing or misusing data

Data misuse is grounds for termination.


12. Monitoring & Enforcement

Diventures Club reserves the right to:

  • Monitor provider performance
  • Investigate complaints or reports
  • Suspend or terminate providers for violations
  • Remove listings without prior notice in serious cases

Decisions are made in the best interest of platform integrity and safety.


13. Relationship to Other Agreements

This Code of Conduct forms an integral part of:

In case of conflict, the Provider Agreement shall prevail.


14. Amendments

Diventures Club may update this Code of Conduct from time to time.

Continued participation on the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Code.


15. Acceptance

By registering or continuing to operate as a service provider on Diventures Club, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood this Code of Conduct
  • Agree to comply with its requirements
